Microalbuminuria is a urinary albumin excretion of 20 to 200 mg/L. It is an early indication of cardiovascular and renal diseases that are characterized by persistent albuminuria. Early detection can aid in treatment and diagnostics of incipient nephropathy in people with diabetes and hypertension. The reduced risk of cardiovascular and kidney disease can be assured with the reduced albumin excretion. Micral Test is a simple, economical and efficient tests done using Micral Test Stripes. 1 min (colour stable to 5 min) is the standard measuring time, and measuring range is from negative to 100 mg/L. There is a color scale printed on the vial label that allows to compare visually. The urine sample to be tested must be stored maximum for three days at room temperature for accurate results.
